The Dominican authorities confirmed by email that holders of a Refugee Travel Document can enter the Dominican Republic without a visa for a stay of up to 30 days.

The authorities also state that travellers who hold a valid visa or residence card from the European Union, United States, Canada, or Great Britain may enter with a Tourist Card. The Tourist Card costs US$10 or €10 and can be purchased upon arrival at an airport, port, or land border, or through Dominican diplomatic and consular offices and authorized tourism operators.

Canadian Refugee Travel Document holders do not require a visa for stays of up to 30 days, according to the Dominican authorities.

Travellers should carry their valid Canadian RTD and ensure they comply with any applicable entry requirements. If relying on the Tourist Card arrangement through a Canadian residence card or visa, travellers should verify that their documentation meets the conditions specified by the Dominican authorities.
